316L stainless steel
Hypoallergenic surgical steel
Most of our jewelry is crafted with 316L stainless steel, also known as surgical steel. It is the strongest and most durable steel one can make jewelry of. Stainless steel is an alloy of mainly iron, chromium, carbon, and nickel.
So how are they hypoallergenic if they contain nickel? While nickel is a part of chemical composition, nickel does not release from the jewelry after processing. People who are sensitive to nickel usually don't react to surgical steel - and all our nickel tests have come out negative. However, if you are super sensitive, please be aware.
Steel is far more durable than silver and gold when it comes to scratch resistance, and is free from copper which is what makes jewelry tarnish and turn green or blue.
It is an indefinite recyclable material, meaning it can be recycled and reused over and over again.
In the production, scraps are saved and reused making it close to a zero waste production.

18k Solid Gold
We use a process called ion plating, or PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition). It is a superior plating method in terms of durability, scratch resistance, and corrosion-resistance from water, chlorine, sweat, and other chemicals. It is 10x stronger than traditional gold plating methods.
While other gold plating methods use harmful chemicals such as cyanide, ion plating utilizes titanium nitride: an extremely hard, corrosion resistant ceramic, biodynamic material used to harden and protect the metal and coating. Ion plating does not use any hazardous chemicals, and neither does it produce any hazardous waste.
Ion plating is a metal bonding on a molecular level that was developed by NASA, so it's safe for space too! The process takes place in an oxygen-free vacuum chamber using electrical voltage to create a negative charge.
It has been used in the industrial sector, for things such as door knobs, faucets, and drill tips, but is fairly new in the jewelry industry.

Freshwater Pearls. Our cultivated freshwater pearls (real pearls) are sourced from China.
Shell Pearls/Mother of pearl, also known as nacre, is the iridescent inner layer of mollusk shells and the outer coating of pearls. It's composed of calcium carbonate in thin platelet forms and organic matrix, which gives it its characteristic luster and strength.
Cubic Zirconia. A majority of our pieces are made with the highest grade CZ one can find. This premium grade of cubic zirconia offers exceptional brilliance and clarity, resembling the look of genuine diamonds, except it sparkles just a little bit more.
